Anderson's ACT, a comprehensive model of the human cognitive mechanisms, is described. It models the declarative and production memories of ACT, as well as the firing and learning mechanisms of productions. Temporal strings, considered but left unimplemented in original ACT, is available. A model of hands generally following the design of Rumelhart and Norman is also provided. Written in C, the simulator has a character-based conversational interface.
