The IntelligentPad was developed at Hokkaido university. A pad is an object with a function and users can paste it on another pad like a sheat of paper. Users can arbitrarily design the layout of pads and construct a composite pad with complex functions from them. The CAN system on IntelligentPad provides a microworld with its construction set. In this microworld, a student can construct various tools to try whatever idea he thinks.
