They are not appropriate for printing Japanese documents of some kinds because they were transferred from those for printing English documents. In particular, it is difficult to print out Japanese documents with such tables as a personal history table. Most tables in English documents are lists of n-tuples of some items, however, tables in Japanese documents have composite structures. We need to develop a new system for printing tables in Japanese documents. Firstly we analyze tables in Japanese documents and construct a Table model for them.
