Moreover, the demand for the collaboration by sharing the virtual environment in a field of data visualization has been rising. In this paper, we developed an audio library for voice communication (vocAL) to realize smoothy communication in a collaborative virtual environment over the wide area network (WAN). The vocAL can dynamically adjust the sound volume and the PAN level correspond to the position of a speaker in VR environment. To realize a voice communication in multipoints without a MCU and IP multicast, we constructed a HybridP2P network and proposed a method which assigned different port number for each communication path.
