Since then, JUNET has increased the number of connecting networks and several IP-based networks have started their domestic and international interconnections. Together with BITNET-Japan, these networks, namely, JUNET, WIDE Internet, TISN and JAIN are constructing internationally reachable Japanese R&D Internetwork. This paper reports the current status of the Japanese Internet using varioius statistic information resulted from examinations over the existing networks. The technologies and methods employed for the examinations are also described.}, title = {学術ネットワーク間接続利用の変遷}, year = {1991} }
