Due to packet loss on network transmission of continuous media as video data, it is difficult to be recovered by retransmission of the lost packet in order to keep playing in real time. In our system, a recovering packet loss mechanism for commpressed video by MPEG is introduced to recover the video frames which include lost data from previously transmitted frames.
