• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: あるユーザ集団（コミュニティ）に通信サービスが導入されたときユーザがどのように反応するか、また通信サービスの定着を支援するためには何が必要か、というユーザ行動解析の方法論について論じ、ユーザ行動理解のためのグランドセオリーおよび集団の長期的観察手法の確立が必要であるという研究の枠組みを示す。また、筆者らがこの枠組みに沿って進める予定の地域情報ネットワーク実験におけるユーザ解析について、今後のケーススタディ手法について述べる。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: This paper discusses the methodology of user behavior research on communication sociology, in order to predict how users act in the case that a new communication service is introduced into a community and what is needed to support the diffusion of the new service. The two goals, the grand theory to understand user behavior, and the method for long term observation of user community, are proposed. The planned case studies for Hayashi field trial of the regional community network are also presented.
