ISDN Inverse Multiplexser (IMUX) have been introduced for bundling several low-speed B channels into one high-speed channel, which is suitable for video communication. This paper clarifies problems of one type of ISDN-IMUX, frame-type IMUXs, when they are embeded in the WAN.
