a large indoor facility such as a museum, where visitors can move freely without a fixed route, the problem of “forgetting to go around” can occur during or after their stay, where they lose sight of whether they have visited all the places. This research seeks to develop a map tool that helps users recall the places they have visited in an indoor space, with the goal of avoiding this problem of forgetting to turn around. We believe that solving the forgetting-to-turn problem will lead to a reduction in the sense of anxiety felt during the stay and an increase in the level of satisfaction after the stay. In this paper, we surveyed visitors to an open campus to determine the triggers for evoking their memories of visited spaces.
