Recently, robots are expected to provide mental care through communication using emotion estimation. Conventional emotion estimation methods such as facial expression have the problem that the information does not continue unless a person expresses it, and it is difficult to estimate the emotion when the information ceases. Therefore, an emotion estimation method using biometric information that continues to collect sufficiently estimate the emotion and a robot that recognizes the user's emotions based on the result. However, there is a point where a delay occurs in the handling of biometric information. In addition, the emotion recognition method has the problem of not being able to respond to intuitive changes in the user's emotions. In this study, we aim to develop a system to reduce the delay and to find a suitable emotion recognition method and investigated the status of the method to respond to changes in emotion by configuration using ESP32-WROOM-32E and micro-ROS. In the evaluation, it was found that the delay was reduced and that the current emotion recognition method was not able to cope with changes. In the future, we will propose a new system that improves on these points. |
