内容記述 Inventory management in university and research laboratories often encounters challenges due to the non-uniformity and volume of equipment, compounded by multiple users borrowing items. Manual record-keeping exacerbates inefficiencies, leading to inaccuracies and difficulty in tracking equipment usage. This paper proposes a Radio frequency identification (RFID)- based inventory management system integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) technology to address these issues. The proposed system combines RFID tag reading with real-time monitoring via a web application, utilizing a Raspberry Pi for data processing and internet connectivity. RFID technology is used for automatic equipment identification, while WebSocket ensures real-time data transmission with minimal latency. This system enhances visibility, accuracy, and scalability in inventory management. The study explores calibration strategies and design optimizations to improve RFID detection efficiency, particularly in boxed inventory storage. Results indicate that this system potentially enhance inventory management by providing a more reliable and efficient automated solution.
