IoTA, a reliable and lightweight transport protocol incorporating built-in security features, has been developed as a middleware for the Internet of Things (IoT) environment including robotics systems. The objective of this paper is to enhance IoTA's performance by reducing latency through the integration of raw socket communication. Through the evaluation, we confirmed that latency was reduced and that IoTA can be effectively applied as a lightweight transport solution within the IoT environment. |
