The 5FPT (Five-Factor-Player-Traits), developed by Tondello et al., was used to investigate game preferences, and the IPIP-IPC-J (A Japanese version of the International Personality Item Pool-Interpersonal Circumplex), developed by Hashimoto and Oshio, was used to investigate personality. First, we analyzed the causal relationship between in-game purchase factors, based on the responses to the questionnaire. Furthermore, in-game purchase behavior was modelled based on the responses to the questionnaire, and the factors were analyzed.
