• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 近年，日本の大学において STEM 分野における多様性（ダイバーシティ）の促進を目的として，女性のみを対象とした教育プログラムが増加しており，このようなプログラムは国際的なダイバーシティ推進の動向が実施の根拠として用いられてきた経緯がある．そこで当研究では，STEM 分野における性別を限定したプログラムについて，米国の事例について予備的な調査を行った．調査の結果，米国では性別を限定した教育プログラムは性差別とみなされ，公民権侵害として法的追及を受けるケースが多く，2024 年時点で縮小傾向にあることが分かった．日本の女性限定の教育プログラムは差別を許容しない国際的な潮流に反する可能性があり，再検討が求められる．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: In recent years, Japanese universities have increasingly implemented women-only education programs in STEM fields with the aim of promoting diversity. These programs have been justified based on international trends advocating for diversity. In this study, a preliminary investigation was conducted on gender-specific education programs, focusing on cases in the United States. The results indicate that in the U.S., such gender-specific programs are often viewed as discriminatory and have faced legal challenges as civil rights violations, leading to a decline in their implementation as of 2024. Japan's women-only programs may conflict with the international trend that does not tolerate discrimination, suggesting the need for reconsideration.
