To this end, we have developed an Agent-based simulation (ABS) software that is capable of testing demographic hypotheses, and have released it to the public as open-source software. By lowering the number of cache misses, a more computationally efficient ABS program was achieved, allowing for the simulation of a greater number of agents and a wider simulation area.
