• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 5G の展開が拡大するにつれてモバイルデータトラフィックは年々増加し，モバイルブロードバンド用の周波数需要はさらに高まっている．米国では，インセンティブオークションという新たな手法により，放送周波数をモバイル向けに再編した．さらに国防総省が利用する帯域の一部を官民共用としたり，衛星サービスを他の帯域に移行させたりするなどして，5G のエリア展開に必要なミッドバンドを確保している．EU ではデジタル単一市場戦略の一部として，地上放送事業者が利用する 700MHz を域内共通の 5G パイオニアバンドの一つに特定した．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: As 5G deployment expands, mobile data traffic is growing year by year, and spectrum demand for mobile broadband is also increasing further. In the United States, the FCC conducted the first-ever “incentive auction” to repurpose TV broadcast 600MHz band for mobile use. Mid-band spectrum necessary for the widespread deployment of 5G is being secured by refarming spectrum used by the Department of Defense and fixed satellite services. In the EU, the European Commission identified 700MHz band used by terrestrial broadcasters as one of the 5G pioneer bands for the region as part of its Digital Single Market Strategy.
