However, when processing jobs that require relatively long computation runs, a live migration capability is desirable to avoid processing interruptions. In this paper, we implemented a system for the live migration feature on a Kubernetes cluster, based on the assumption that container images are shared using a remote file system, and devised a way to reduce application downtime.
