Specific examples include cases where multiple accounts are created using different email addresses and multiple unauthorised login attempts. As a preventive measure, a method exists that uses browser fingerprints to estimate the terminal used. In this study, a novel rule-based device estimation algorithm using browser fingerprints is proposed and experiments are conducted to evaluate its effectiveness. In developing the algorithm, the focus was on using features with low missing data to increase practicality.
