This study investigates the benefits of implementing one-time passwords (OTPs) as a connection requirement for wired home networks. This study also attempts to set some reauthentication rules that elevate the status of the OTP server by providing authentication and a network-monitoring tool. Although security is a major concern on the Internet, many users still prioritise convenience, which has resulted in poor password practices. This study aims to improve the security of home networks and ensure that users can access the Internet freely while ensuring the safety of their data. |
