However, this capability can be exploited by attackers who manipulate visual information to endanger users. This study explores a novel attack scenario where MR output is used to conceal an attacker near the user in the real world, thereby compromising privacy. We propose a method to detect such attacks by measuring the consistency between multiple sensor inputs of the MR device. Specifically, we convert point cloud data and visible light data into depth buffers and use the absolute differences between these buffers for anomaly detection. We evaluate the detection performance by shifting the depth buffer values against a specific threshold, demonstrating the effectiveness and challenges of our proposed method.
