Furthermore, when videoconferencing is conducted with shared materials, participants need to pay attention not only to the other person's face but also to the materials, which may make turn-changing even more difficult. To address this issue, we conducted videoconferencing with shared materials and collected meeting data that included gaze and utterances. This paper analyzes both where participants are paying attention before speech overlap and the length of pauses just before speech overlap. We also explored issues specific to videoconferencing with shared materials.
