Due to the limited number of precedents for \"Mathematics for Data Science,\" we chose to approach this course through STEAM education. The course was conducted in an active learning format that emphasized critical thinking, decision -making, and expressive skills. A significant amount of time and effort was dedicated to hands-on activities involving robotics, programming, and robot control. Students compiled their learning outcomes into presentations using Google Slides, culminating in a showcase that included live demonstrations of robotic skills. Upon analyzing the learning outcomes against the goals of STEAM education, it was found that students were able to identify mathematical (M) concepts through the use of technology (T) in robotics and the engineering (E) aspects of programming.
