In March 2020, the global automobile manufacturing industry, including India, experienced a significant decline in stock prices. However, the Indian automobile manufacturing industry demonstrated a rapid recovery and showed strong performance, surpassing pre-COVID-19 levels. In the clustering analysis, we compared the automobile manufacturing industries of India and Japan, and found that the top five Indian companies were grouped into a single cluster with similar patterns. This indicates that Indian companies have distinct fluctuation patterns compared to Japanese companies.
