• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: インドの自動車製造業社の 2009 年から 2024 年の時価総額変動パターンを階層型クラスタリングによって分析する．2020 年 3 月に大きな株価下落があったが，インドの自動車製造業は迅速に回復し，COVID-19 以前を上回る好成績を示した．インドと日本の自動車製造業を比較すると，マルチスズキなどのインドの主力 5 社は同様のパターンで一つのクラスターに分類され，日本企業とは異なる変動パターンをもつことが発見された．この要因として，インドの GDP 増加による中間所得層の購買力向上や政府の製造業振興政策が考えられる．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: We analyzed the market capitalization fluctuation patterns of the Indian automobile manufacturing industry using hierarchical clustering. In March 2020, the global automobile manufacturing industry, including India, experienced a significant decline in stock prices. However, the Indian automobile manufacturing industry demonstrated a rapid recovery and showed strong performance, surpassing pre-COVID-19 levels. In the clustering analysis, we compared the automobile manufacturing industries of India and Japan, and found that the top five Indian companies were grouped into a single cluster with similar patterns. This indicates that Indian companies have distinct fluctuation patterns compared to Japanese companies. The factors behind this include the increased purchasing power due to the growth of the middle-income class alongside the rise in India's GDP, and the effectiveness of policies promoting the manufacturing industry by the Indian government.
