スマートフォンの普及により，インターネットを利用する時間が増え，多様な情報を簡単に収集できるようになった．しかし，情報を選択するのはユーザであり，ユーザ自身の趣向に合うニュース記事しか読まない人が多い．しかし，普段読まないニュース記事にも興味を持って読むべき記事もある．そこで我々は，書店に並んだ本のポップに着目し，ニュース記事の内容を WordCloud[1] を画像として生成し，ポップのように表現する「NewsPopCloud」を提案する．WordCloud とは，文章や単語の出現頻度をその文字の大きさや色を使って視覚的に表現する手法である．我々が提案する NewsPopCloud は，Web 上に表示されたニュース記事のリンクに対して，そのニュース記事のコメントからそのニュースに対する感情を分析し，その感情に合った色とフォントを反映させた WordCloud 画像を生成し，その Web 記事のリンク横に重畳して表示させるシステムである．本稿では， Yahoo! ニュースの記事を対象とした NewsPopCloud のプロトタイプを試作し，このプロトタイプが適切に処理できているかを確認したので報告する． |

The widespread use of smartphones has increased the amount of time spent on the Internet, making it easier to collect a wide variety of information. However, it is the user who selects the information, and many people only read news articles that suit their own taste. However, there are some news articles that should be read with interest even if they are not usually read. We propose NewsPopCloud, which represents the content of news articles as pop-ups by generating WordCloud[1] as images. WordCloud is a method to visually represent the frequency of occurrence of sentences and words by using the size and color of their letters. The NewsPopCloud system we propose analyses the sentiment towards the news from the comments on the news article, generates a WordCloud image reflecting the color and font that matches that sentiment, and superimposes it next to the link in the web article. The system displays the WordCloud image superimposed next to the link in the web article. In this paper, we report on the prototype of NewsPopCloud for Yahoo! |
