In this study, we propose a method improving the compression ratio of SRLA. There are two proposals in this paper; variable audio frame segmentation and an increase in the number of prediction orders for linear predictive coding (LPC). The above proposals shows compression rate improvement through performance comparisons using real music data. The compression ratio and decoding speed of the proposed method are superior to those of existing codecs, and are close to those of TAK (Tom's lossless Audio Kompressor).
