Tofu インターコネクト D による 6 次元メッシュ/トーラス構造を採用している．その上で稼働するジョブ運用ソフトウェアおよび MPI ライブラリは，6 次元メッシュ/トーラス上に構成された仮想 3 次元空間に基づき，ジョブに対する計算資源割り当てやランクの割り当てを行う．ジョブの次元は 1，2，3 次元の中からユーザーが選択可能であり，各論理軸は 6 次元トーラス/メッシュの物理 x，y，ｚ，a，b，c 軸から選択した軸による空間上を一筆書きするような経路に新たに論理座標を割り当てることで実現される．富岳のジョブスケジューラーでは，次元が低いほどジョブ空間を実現するための物理軸の選び方の自由度が高いため，ジョブ実行開始までの時間が短い傾向がある．しかし，富士通 MPI の Tofu 専用集団通信は高次元に最適化されているため，実行開始後の通信時間は次元が低いほど長くなるというトレードオフがあった．本研究では，富士通 MPI に対して，低次元ジョブのランク割り当て情報を動的に高次元に変換することで，Tofu 専用集団通信の適用条件を満たしやすくする機構を導入し，効果を評価した．その結果，種々の集団通信で最大 100
