To address this issue, this research proposes an application that helps visually impaired individuals to perceive the indoor environments by utilizing the LiDAR scanner and camera of a smartphone. This application provides two functions: explaining the details of the scenery in front of the user using GPT-4 Vision, and alerting the user based on the measured distance of objects in front of the user to prevent collision with objects.
