内容記述 | Effectively staged computation has been mostly explored within statically typed languages, such as MetaOCaml due to their inherent capacity to enforce well-formedness of generated programs and type safety. This exploration, however, has traditionally overlooked the potential applicability in dynamically or semi-dynamically typed languages, a domain where languages like Python and TypeScript are prevalent. Addressing this gap, the current study introduces Meta-TypeScript, an innovative two-stage extension to core TypeScript. A type system characterizes this extension, adept in maintaining variable usage confined within designated stages and proficiently managing the ‘any’ type for dynamic expressions. We also discuss several pitfalls in the design and implementations of Meta-TypeScript, and state our solutions for them. | |||||||||
