In recent years, the spread of wearable devices has made it easier to monitor heart rate during exercises, and ring-type wearable devices are also available on the market. Therefore, this study aimed to verify the accuracy of heart rate measurements during cycling using the OURA ring and the Apple Watch. During cycling, the Apple Watch Series 6 and the OURA Ring Gen 3 were worn. To verify the heart rate accuracy of these devices, the Polar H10 was worn on the chest. The heart rate measurements from the Polar H10 were compared with those from the OURA Ring and the Apple Watch. As previous studies indicated, the heart rate measurement by the Apple Watch was highly accurate.
