内容記述タイプ Other
内容記述 With the increasing popularity of online shopping, 3D models can provide realistic product presentations in comparison to traditional text and photo-based presentations of products. Specifically, for shellfish 3D models offer more advantages in comparison to traditional pictures for sales and presentations because they are marine organisms with complex features and textures. In this study, a multi-view stereo (MVS) imaging technique was used to construct detailed, accurate 3D models of shellfish for commercial sales. The aim is to leverage the sense of reality provided by 3D models in order to specifically cater to the virtual reality and online retail markets. Using MVS, multiple images of shellfish specimens are captured from different angles to construct a 3D model of the shellfish's geometry and complex textures. The resulting models can be integrated with virtual environments to provide a richer visual experience, allowing potential buyers to examine the product from all angles and gain a comprehensive understanding of its physical attributes. In addition, this research has a positive effect in promoting the usage of 3D modeling technology for scientific and commercial purposes.
