• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 令和 4 年度博物館法の改正に伴い，博物館の新たな役割として，博物館資料のデジタルアーカイブ化や地域の多様な主体との連携・協力による文化観光など地域の価値創出への寄与が明記された．これら博物館を取り巻く動向を念頭に置きつつ，本研究では実態があまり明らかではない江戸期の北上川舟運を対象として，公立博物館との連携による時空間データベースの構築法と地域での様々な活用方法を明らかにし，地域史としての舟運の解明と継承に資することを目的とする．本稿では，GIS を基盤とする時空間データベース構築の試みと地域での活用に向けた課題等について報告する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: With the revision of the Museum Act in 2022, the new roles of museums were specified as digital archiving of museum materials and contribution to the creation of regional values such as cultural tourism through collaboration and cooperation with various regional entities. With these trends surrounding museums in mind, the purpose of this research is to clarify how to construct a spatio-temporal database of boat transport on the Kitakami River and how to utilize it, and to contribute to the elucidation and inheritance of boat transport as a part of local history and culture. This paper reports on an attempt to construct a GIS-based spatio-temporal database in collaboration with a local public museum, and the issues involved in its utilization in the local community.
