As for estimation methods, it is desirable to have a method that can be inferred from common surveillance cameras installed throughout the real world, namely, a method that can be inferred from RGB images captured by a single camera. Therefore, in this study, we propose a method for estimating gazed object using 3D gaze estimation. In our proposed method, we estimate a person's 3D head coordinates and 3D gaze direction from images captured by calibrated cameras, and estimate the gazed object by combining this information with the positional information of surrounding objects. While it is necessary to prepare the positional information of surrounding objects in advance, even objects outside the camera's field of view can be considered as gazed object candidates.
