のチャネル情報(CSI:Channel State Information)を利用して行動認識や位置推定などを行う WiFi センシングの研究が進められている.CSI はアンテナ送受信間の電波伝搬特性を表したものであるため,AP(Access Point)の配置やアンテナ角度に依存して変化する.そのため,推論精度を向上するためには AP 配置やアンテナ角度を最適化する必要があるが,機械学習ベースの WiFi センシングではそれぞれの AP 配置,アンテナ角度について訓練データが必要になり,データ取得コストが膨大になる.本稿では,学習用データ取得コスト削減のため,本来学習したい分類タスクに対してクラス数を一部に制限した小規模な分類タスクを利用する RCAL(Reduction of CALibration cost)を提案する.評価実験では,RCAL を用いて削減されたクラス数を分類タスクと全クラスの分類タスクで AP 配置とアンテナ角度ごとの行動認識の分類精度に相関があり,RCAL candidate method of activity recognition and indoor positioning. Channel state information (CSI), which is utilized in WiFi sensing, varies if access point (AP) positions and their antenna orientations change because CSI reflects the physical property of radio propagation between the transmitter and receiver. Therefore, the AP positions and their antenna orientations should be optimized for better prediction accuracy. However, in machine-learning-based WiFi sensing, the cost of obtaining training data tends to increase because the training data is required for all pairs of AP positions and antenna orientations. To solve this problem, we propose a method named reduction of calibration cost (RCAL), which reduces the number of classes to be classified in the calibration phase so that the total calibration time decreases.
