画像を用いた画像誘導穿刺である CT ガイド下穿刺が利用されている.CT 画像は,体のどの部位についても範囲にほぼ制限なく画像を取得できるため,体内のすべての部位にあるターゲットに対して理論上は穿刺可能である.我々の研究グループでは,CT ガイド下穿刺における穿刺経路の探索手法に取り組んでいる.しかし,従来手法では,穿刺経路の探索が 2 次元に限定されるため,探索範囲を3  次元に拡張する場合における探索時間は非常に長くなる.また,多くの場合で穿刺経路の探索時間に上限を設定するため,従来手法による探索範囲は,人体を構成する一部の領域に限定される.本研究では,CT ガイド下穿刺において 3 次元による穿刺経路の探索手法を提案する.提案手法では,2 次元平面上で与えられた始点から終点までの線分を高速導出するレイ・トレーシング法を用いることで,実際の穿刺経路の探索において許容される時間内で,人体を構成するすべての CT 画像を用いて,安全かつ最短の穿刺経路を導出できる.計算機によるシミュレーション評価の結果,2 次元 CT 画像の数が 15 の場合における 3 次元穿刺経路の探索時間は,提案手法で約 4.77 秒,候補となるすべての穿刺経路を探索する従来手法で約 2599.0秒 となり,提案手法の探索時間は従来手法に比べて約 99.8%
