VR 空間での信頼度の推定実験に引き続き,本研究では実空間で信頼度を推定する.単路部・無信号の横断歩道を想定したコースに車両が減速しながら接近し,歩行者は横断前/横断中に自身の車両に対する信頼度を各 3 段階で時々刻々に記録する.歩行者および車両の挙動は地上および車載カメラにより撮影し,YOLOv5 により抽出した両者の距離,OpenPose により抽出した歩行者の骨格座標などから深層学習 (LSTM) により信頼度を推定した.結果,横断前/横断中の全体的な正解率はそれぞれ 77%,64% absent in autonomous vehicles, concerns arise regarding insufficient communication between the vehicle and pedestrians, leading to overtrust or distrust and hindering safe and smooth traffic flow. To address this, we propose estimating the trust level of pedestrians towards vehicles by observing pedestrian behavior and adjusting this trust level through vehicle control and information presentation. Following experiments conducted in VR environments to estimate trust levels, this study aims to estimate trust levels in real-world settings. In a scenario simulating a single-lane, unsignalized pedestrian crossing, vehicles approach while decelerating, and pedestrians record their trust levels towards the approaching vehicles in three levels at various intervals, both before and during the crossing. Pedestrian and vehicle behaviors are captured using ground and onboard cameras. Deep learning (LSTM) is employed to estimate trust levels using features such as distances between pedestrians and vehicles extracted by YOLOv5 and pedestrian skeletal coordinates extracted by OpenPose.
