デバイスが生み出す膨大なデータを取り扱うため，クラウドを構成する多数のサーバを用いて検索や転送処理の効率を向上させる分散処理技術として VNLB-ES が提案されている．VNLB-ES は，分散クラウドストレージシステムにかかるストレージ・検索・処理の負荷を，仮想ノードを用いて効率的に複数の物理ノードに分散させる機能を備えている．また．要求される処理に必要となるリソース量が少ない状況では，仮想ノードが稼働しない物理ノードを確保して，停止/一時停止状態とすることでシステム全体の消費電力を削減する機能を持たせている．しかしながら，VNLB-ES における物理ノードの選択は乱数を用いて行われており，ネットワーク的に離れた物理ノードが選択され，データ検索やデータ転送などシステム全体の性能低下を引き起こす可能性がある．そこで本研究では，RTT 値を用いて物理ノード間のネットワーク状況を推定し，ネットワーク状況を考慮しながら負荷分散を行う VNLB-ES-NS を提案する．また，VNLB-ES-NS の有効性を評価するために，負荷分散のためのサーバの決定機構のシミュレータを実装し，そのシミュレーション結果から VNLB-ES-NS が VNLB-ES
