GPU ベースの解析ツールの使用に焦点を当てる.特に,計算時間の短縮により,即時的な医療提供の実現,より多くの患者へのサービスの提供,研究の促進,およびコスト削減と資源の効率的利用が可能となるかを検証する.これらのメリットは,個別化医療の推進と医療研究の加速に寄与するとともに,医療コストの削減と資源利用の最適化にも影響を与えることが期待される.本研究では,NVIDIA Parabricks および Dorado というゲノム解析ツールの性能を,最新の NVIDIA H100 SXM 80GB GPU を 8 基搭載したハードウェア環境で詳細に検証する.これらのツールは,ヒトゲノム解析において広く使用されているもので,典型的なデータサイズに対する計算速度が焦点となる.我々の実験では,臨床研究で用いられる典型的な全ゲノムシークエンスデータセットを使用し,計算時間と出力結果の妥当性を評価した.その結果,NVIDIA H100 GPU を搭載したシステムでは,従来の V100 を搭載したシステムと比べて Parabricks 計算速度を 2.3 倍以上,Dorado 計算速度を約 9 倍高速化できると示された.NVIDIA H100 GPU と組み合わせることで,Parabricks および Dorado
