On the same day, the European Parliament on the AI Law also published amendments from the Commission proposal. These amendments include regulations on remote biometric identification. including the European Parliament's European AI Law Parliamentary amendments to the European AI Law, countries around the world are currently discussing a cautious approach to the use of facial images. This can be attributed to the increasing use of facial images in society, including Clearview.
