| 内容記述 | 心に響く音楽を奏でるとき，ピアニストは自身の感情を演奏に込めているといわれている．これまでも演奏者の感情を主体とした演奏表現についての研究はなされているが，本研究では演奏時の顔の表情推定から演奏者の演奏表現を明らかにすることを試みる．一般に詳細な演奏法は楽譜に明記されていないため，楽譜のみの演奏表現では豊かな音楽を奏でることが困難である．一方，楽譜には発想標語と呼ばれる演奏表現のための抽象的なイメージが示されている．すなわち，ピアニストにとって “演奏表現をする“ とは，演奏者がそのイメージに対する独自の解釈を通して内面的な感情変化を構築し，それを外在化させて音を奏でるということである．人の顔の表情は内面的な感情と強い相関があるため，演奏者の顔の表情から感情を推定し，楽譜に記載された発想標語と表情推定で得た演奏者の感情変化を比較して，その差を分析する．分析の結果，ピアニストは楽譜の指定表現に従いつつも，それぞれ独自の感情を加えて演奏表現の調整を行い，より心に響く音楽を奏でていることが示された． | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | Pianists play the piano with their emotions for reverberating with the audiences. Many studies have been made to understand the relationship between their own emotion and the performance expressions. This study tackles the issue with focusing on the player's facial expressions to reveal their inner emotion when they are performing. By the stylistic marking such as “dolce”, which means “play gently and sweetly” in English, the musical score indicates the performing image. Due to such the abstract writing style, it is hard to play moving melodies only following the stylistic markings on the musical score. Thus, the pianists have own continuous feelings in their mind. In other words, playing the piano means constructing their inner emotion that reflects their personal views of the stylistic markings and expressing them. As a strong relationship between human's facial expression and inner emotion, this study compares the stylistic markings on the musical score and the pianist's continuous facial expressions. The result shows that the pianists arrange their performance expressions by adding own unique emotion while following the musical score instructions and perform emotionally moving melodies. | |||||||||
