Since the development of super-resolution had been completed to the initial goal, we decided to focus on real-time object detection, which has attracted much attention in recent years, as the next topic. As a start, we worked on the development of an object detector (YOLOv2) , which will be the basis for future research and development, and an FPGA-based system for camera input and result image output. However, this work proved to be more difficult than anticipated, so for the convenience of future researchers interested in similar research, we report on the details of the work.
