We have proposed a system using beamforming (BF) and demonstrated its effectiveness through simulations. However, the current configuration has the problem that the system size is large and not suitable for real environment. If the 32 microphones currently required could be reduced, the portability of the array could be improved and the cost of deployment lowered.
