オーディオ信号の効率的な符号化・伝送技術に，空間的マスキング効果を利用することを目的に様々な条件下でのマスキング閾値の変化について研究を行っている．これまで，水平面内での空間的マスキング効果についての実験結果から，マスキング閾値の変化は ITD/ILD の影響が強いことが示唆されている．本研究では音源配置を変化させても ITD/ILD の関係性が保持される正中面と矢状面に配置された仰角の異なる 2 音源間の空間的マスキング効果について調査した．その結果，マスカの周波数によってはマスキの仰角が 90°に近いほど，マスキング閾値が低下することが分かった．追加で行った測定により，聴取実験に使用した音源信号の種類によっては音を提示する仰角によってラウドネスが変化していることが確認された．そのことがマスキング閾値の変化に影響しているものと推測される．","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_4_description_8":{"attribute_name":"論文抄録(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"We have been studying spatial auditory masking under various conditions for the use in 3D audio coding. Experimental results on spatial masking effects in the horizontal plane have suggested that changes in the masking threshold are strongly influenced by ITD/ILD. In this study, we investigated the spatial masking effect between two sound sources with different elevation angles placed on the median and sagittal planes, where the ITD/ILD values are almost maintained even when the sound placement is changed. The results showed that the masking threshold decreased with increasing elevation angle of the masker, with certain frequency of the masker.
