In PTP, the client daemon and the time synchronization master exchange packets over the network to measure the time difference between each clock, and the fluctuation of the packet delay will deteriorate the accuracy. In this paper, we propose a modularized mechanism to correct the fluctuation based on the Berkeley Packet Filter (BPF).
