This study focuses on scenes where humans conduct gaze interactions with non-humanoid robots and analyzes the changes in impressions when the robots alter their behavior in response to gaze within a VR environment. We considered two types of behavioral changes: acceleration/deceleration and direction change. Participants evaluated their impressions using a set of eleven adjective pairs. The results confirmed that for acceleration/deceleration under gaze-responsive conditions, evaluations of lifelikeness, sociability, and impression were higher.
