However, these methods have the potential for misinterpretation of the arrow's meaning, as arrows not only indicate the direction of movement but also serve as a means of guidance. In this study, we reveal the phenomenon where arrows presented by mobile robots lead to confusion in their interpretation, and we aim to clarify their meaning through different presentation approaches. We conducted virtual passing experiments using subjective videos of encounters with mobile robots presenting arrows. As a result, we confirmed the occurrence of confusion in the interpretation. Furthermore, the obtained results suggested that the timing and placement of arrow presentation influence the interpretation of the arrows.
