Efforts are made to improve their usefulness through automatic or manual completion. For example, the creators (authors) of contents are often recorded with information that is not a unique identifier such as their names, and it is often necessary to determine whether the authors of contents are the same person or not. This paper describes the author identification process in the knowledge graph construction of CiNii Research, an academic information retrieval platform. It utilizes the Grant-in-Aid researcher number to uniquely identify a person, and performs automatic identification process based on similarities in name, affiliation, co-author, research topic, etc. In some cases, it is difficult to identify a person correctly by automatic process due to insufficient information.
