The unstructured supplementary service data protocol (USSD) is a feature of GSM cell phones, namely a protocol used to communicate with the mobile network operator's computers. In Ghana, owing to the popularity of “Mobile Money” Services, use of the USSD protocol is common practice in the daily lives of people. We propose to employ USSD with the waterfall model to provide transportation services. Introducing a transportation service that takes advantage of a tool that is widely used is highly beneficial as it allows for easy integration.
