IPFS is an open source P2P distributed file system that uses “content addressing”, which refers to objects by their hash values, while it is suitable for making datasets permanent, it requires some ingenuity to handle mutable data. In this paper, we report on an attempt to share a dataset using Git and IPNS, the name resolution mechanism in IPFS, and the implementation of an IDS-find function for IPFS written in JavaScript using this decentralized dataset. In addition, we discuss the practical decentralization of databases in the field of digital humanities.},
