Specifically, leveraging IIIF, we developed a viewer and plugin equipped with an image rotation function at any angle, a side -by-side display feature for contemporary maps and old maps, and a feature to assist in the comparison of multiple maps. Furthermore, the utility of the developed tool was validated using two maps : “正保琉球国絵図” held by the Historiographical Institute of the University of Tokyo , and “琉球并諸島図 ” by Miyakonojo Shimazu Residence .},
